The School Library Journal in the USA has just released their list of "The Most Astonishingly Unconventional Books of 2016". The fact that Baa Baa is on it is exciting for us, but really I wanted to share this link because the list really lives up to its title. Sublime, awesome picture books that push boundaries and "expand our assumptions of what a children's book can be." Check em out here...

BAA BAA WINS FRENCH AWARD!
June 2016

Well what do you know. Baa Baa Smart Sheep has won a prize in France! Published by Editions Milan, Le Mouton Farceur won the first and second elementary school category in the Jeunes lecteurs du Nord Isère. Like the Children's Choice award here in New Zealand, it is an award programme voted on by kids. Close to 20,000 kids from the northern part of Isère participated.
